Representative of BSCI’s outstanding reputation in municipality work is the City of Houston’s large scale Wastewater Project which totaled some $37 million in construction costs. Eighteen projects of varying size were completed over a period spanning six months to two years. BSCI has provided the City of Houston with solid wastewater project management in over 50 Public Works and Engineering projects with construction costs of more than $180 million.

The company’s construction management engineering capabilities provided the expert knowledge and experience that significantly improved the quality of life for residents in a 600 square-mile radius in Houston. Improvements were made to approximately 5,700 miles of sewer with over 100,000 manholes installed and 377 Pump Stations were either constructed and/or rehabilitated.

Teaming up with Turner, Collie & Braden, Inc. BSCI provided Management and Construction services for the East Water Purification Plant - Plant 1 Sedimentation Basin Drive Replacement. BSCI’s participation included: pre-construction support; construction feasibility assessments; daily construction inspection; photo documentation of daily construction and monitoring and confirming project compliance.
