BSCI’s proven construction technical capabilities are reflected in its demonstrated general mobility projects including bridges, roadways and light rail. Notable among the firm’s transportation projects were construction management and inspection services for the 7.5 mile light rail for the City of Houston which connects the central business district to sports arenas, museums, parks, retail shops and medical facilities. BSCI, Inc. also played a key role as provider of construction inspection services in the improvement of streets, sidewalks and on-street parking through its participation with the Houston Downtown Management District’s Capital Projects & Planning Program.

Working to upgrade and improve transit efficiency, BSCI was part of a state-of-the-art regional team installing the Regional Computerized Traffic Signal System (RCTSS) aimed at improved traffic flow along transit routes.

Citizens of Houston have further benefited from BSCI’s professional and technical knowledge and skills base through its involvement in street revitalization improvements. BSCI completed the improvements and added value to the lives of Houston citizens through the Metro Downtown and Midtown Street Project drawing upon its construction management, inspection, and civil engineering corporate pillars.
